GUIDELINES
Sample
drop off:
1- Full DNA sequencing service: DNA and
primer can be placed on the second shelf in the refrigerator.
2 -Tail Biopsy service: Deliver
fresh tail samples directly to the Facility for processing and place
samples in the freezer.
3-Service Request Forms: For each
service a request form is required and must be signed by PI or authorized
signer.
After
hours drop off:
A small refrigerator is located
outside the facility, with a bin above for request forms.
Policy
on Repeat Reactions:
As a general rule, we will repeat
failed reactions no more than two reaction per order.
Quality Control: We include a
sequencing standard (consisting of a standard plasmid sequenced with a
standard primer) in each run. If we do not obtain good quality sequence
from this standard, it is indication that there may have been a general
problem with the reactions, and thus any failed reactions in such a run
would be repeated at no charge to the investigator.
