Primer considerations is as follows:
Primer concentration should be 10pmol. Please provide 20
ul of diluted primer.
Purified primers are highly recommended.
All primers must be properly quantitated.
Tm should be ~55 - 60° C
Length of primers should be 18-24 bases, with about 50%
GC
If possible, avoid the following; Dimers, hairpins, runs
of 4 or more of the same base, tails, mismatches
and alternate priming sites.
